TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) – Good character doesn’t go unnoticed in Topeka.
The Kansas Character Recognition Council of Topeka/Shawnee County is honoring David Meseke with their Champion of Character award for December.
Meseke, a specialist for Topeka West High School’s Jobs for America’s Graduates program, was nominated because of his work in promoting good character. Under his guidance, students are taught lessons in entrepreneurship through the creation of benefit calendars. Profits from the calendars go towards funding the student store and field trips.
